For those of you interested in starting a new career, I thought I might share some advice about how to become a driving instructor in the UK. It is actually quite simple, and is one of the fastest, cheapest ways to start your own business in the UK today. All you have to do is complete a driving instructor training course which lasts for about 2 years and costs no more than £4k, and once you have done this, you are good to go! I am really surprised that more people don’t do this, as it seems like a great way to break out of the 9 to 5 routine and really get started doing something original and exciting with your life. The thought of being stuck in an office all day really depresses me.
I am strongly considering becoming a driving instructor, I have already sent off for a leaflet which gives you more information on the driving instructor training process, so will let you know what I decide. It may well be the case that I am in a new career just one year from now! Wish me luck – I am going to need it, I haven’t used my brain for years since I was last at school.
